Welcome to CMD, Andrea Cardillo!

We are so thrilled to welcome Andrea Cardillo to CookeMcDermid! She is represented by Suzanne Brandreth.

Andrea Cardillo is a Toronto-based writer and former broadcast news producer Her debut novel, HAPPY ENOUGH, is a witty, raw, sexy dive into marriage, desire, and self-discovery. Charlie, a fortysomething wife and mom, is terrified that this might be as good as life gets. During a double date with her best friend, Stella, and their husbands she turns to Stella and asks, “Do you think your parents still have sex?” The martini-fueled question sets off a wave of doubt about Charlie’s future—and so begins a journey of late-night escapades, sparked by curiosity and longing that soon threatens her marriage.

Andrea is a veteran of CBC, CTV, and Global News, where she helped shape some of Canada’s most recognizable current affairs programming, including The Hour with George Stroumboulopoulos, Connect with Mark Kelley, and Kevin Newman Live. After two decades in media, Andrea founded That Tracks Content, a boutique PR agency based in Toronto. When she’s not running her company, she’s writing.
