Danny Ramadan is nominated for the 2024 Silver Birch Express Award (Grades 3-4, fiction, non-fiction), for his work, SALMA WRITES A BOOK.

Cherie Dimaline is nominated for the 2024 White Pine Award (Grades 9-12, fiction), for her novel, FUNERAL SONGS FOR DYING GIRLS, and the 2024 Red Maple Award (Grades 7-8, fiction) for her retelling, INTO THE BRIGHT OPEN.
