CMD welcomes Nancy Crochiere
We are thrilled to welcome Nancy Crochiere to CookeMcDermid!
Nancy is a book club and women’s fiction author. Her humorous, big-hearted debut novel follows three generations of women on a road trip from Boston to Memphis, as they are forced to confront hard truths about each other and themselves on the bumpy road towards acceptance, forgiveness and, ultimately, Graceland.
Nancy wrote a humor column for local Massachusetts papers for 15 years, in addition to working as a development editor and manager for various educational publishers and publishing essays in The Boston Globe, Writer’s Digest, and on WBUR’s Cognoscenti. She began writing fiction by crafting creative notes to excuse her daughters’ tardiness at school and hasn’t stopped since.
Nancy is represented by Paige Sisley. They first met at Grub Street’s Muse and the Marketplace Manuscript Mart, where Paige was immediately drawn in by Nancy’s commercial instincts, ability to make her laugh out loud, and knack for writing imperfect and deeply loveable characters. (Thank you, Grub Street!)
