Adam Pottle

Adam Pottle is a Deaf author whose writing spans multiple genres. His works include the award-winning historical novella THE BUS, the memoir VOICE, and the groundbreaking fantasy play THE BLACK DRUM.

We are thrilled to welcome Adam Pottle to CookeMcDermid!

Adam Pottle is a Deaf author whose writing spans multiple genres. His works include the award-winning historical novella THE BUS, the memoir VOICE, and the groundbreaking fantasy play THE BLACK DRUM. He was the 2021-22 writer in residence at Sheridan College and is a 2022 Warner Bros Discovery Access screenwriting fellow.

His his prairie gothic novel APPARITIONS will appear in 2023 and his children's story BUTTERFLY ON THE WIND will appear in 2024. He completed his PhD in 2016 and has taught English and creative writing for sixteen years. He lives in Saskatoon.
