Former primatologist and author of THE CHIMPS OF FAUNA SANCTUARY Andrew Westoll's BORN TO BE WILD: Reckoning with the Zoo in the Age of Extinction, an examination of the many uncomfortable truths about the modern zoo, following the author behind the scenes at zoos and conservation sites from Copenhagen to Congo, the Bronx to London, Hamburg to Cincinnati, in an effort to answer questions about the ethics of captivity, the challenge of conservation, and, fundamentally, our relationship to animals in the midst of the Sixth Extinction, to Deni Remsberg at Rowman & Littlefield, by Martha Webb at CookeMcDermid (WE excl Canada) for publication in fall 2026.

Rights previously sold to Knopf Canada. World Korean and World Polish rights sold to Vision B&P and Czarne, respectively.
