Michelle Good Wins the Amazon First Novel Award for FIVE LITTLE INDIANS
Michelle Good has won the Amazon Canada First Novel Award for Five Little Indians, a $60,000 prize for the best first novel in English published the previous year by a citizen or resident of Canada. The jury was composed of authors Michael Kaan, Kagiso Lesego Molope, Laurie Petrou, and Danny Ramadan. Five Little Indians chronicles the quest of five residential school survivors to come to terms with their past and find a way forward.
