Jessica Johns' debut novel acquired by HarperCollins Canada

Canadian rights to Journey Prize winner Jessica Johns' BAD CREE, when a woman starts to bring back items from her dreams, dreams that are eerily similar to real memories of her older sister and kokum before their untimely deaths, her life spirals into the living nightmare of crows following her around and her dead sister texting her from the other side; like all Cree stories, it leaves the reader with lessons: that dreams are real, aunties always know the way, and guilt and shame are no match for kinship, to Aeman Ansari at Harper Canada, in a very nice deal, at auction, for publication in January 2023, by Stephanie Sinclair.
